Hogwarts Legacy is the ultimate wish-fulfillment for Harry Potter fans. Finally, you get your letter, create your own student, get sorted into your house, and explore a fully realized 1800s Hogwarts. For the massive Potterhead community in India, this is a dream come true.

The gameplay revolves around exploration and a surprisingly deep combat system. You don't just wave a wand; you juggle enemies in the air, combo spells together, and counter attacks with Protego shields. Flying around the castle on a broom is incredibly satisfying and never gets old.

The recreation of Hogwarts castle is the best part of the game. It is massive, filled with secrets, moving portraits, and familiar locations from the movies. The attention to detail is staggering. The Room of Requirement also acts as a fantastic base-building mini-game.

The game does have flaws. Once you leave the castle and explore the surrounding Scottish Highlands, the game turns into a generic Ubisoft-style open world filled with repetitive Merlin Trials and copy-pasted bandit camps. The performance on PC at launch was poor, though it has improved with patches.

If you love Harry Potter, this is a 10/10 must-play experience. If you don't care about the universe, it's a solid 7/10 action RPG. Buy it during a Steam sale when it drops below ₹1,500 for the best value.
