God of War (2018) is no longer a PlayStation exclusive. If you are an Indian PC gamer who missed out on the PS4 era, this is your chance to play what is widely considered one of the best games of the last decade. It perfectly reboots the angry Spartan warrior into a tired father navigating Norse mythology with his son, Atreus.

The gameplay loop is flawless. The Leviathan Axe is arguably the most satisfying weapon in gaming history. Throwing it and recalling it back to your hand feels weighty and impactful every single time. The camera never cuts—the entire 30+ hour campaign is presented in one continuous shot, making the storytelling incredibly immersive.

What makes this PC port genuinely good is the optimization. Unlike The Last of Us Part 1, Sony's team nailed the God of War port. It supports NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR out of the box. Even if you have a budget laptop with an RTX 3050, you can easily hit 60FPS on Original settings.

However, it's not perfect. The enemy variety is severely lacking. You will fight the same color-swapped Trolls over and over again. Additionally, the game forces a lot of slow-walking sections for exposition, which can get tedious on a second playthrough.

Who should buy this? Everyone. Unless you despise single-player story games, God of War is an essential purchase. At ₹3,299 it's slightly expensive, but during a Steam sale when it drops to ₹1,649, it is an absolute steal that will give you 40+ hours of premium entertainment.
