Ubisoft Quebec recently announced the release of its new video game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, in mid-November 2024. The game promises a healthy combination of stealth and action combat.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on various gaming platforms, such as PS5, Xbox series X/S, PC, Ubisoft+, Amazon Luna, iPads, and many more. However, the game will not be supported on Steam or any Game Pass. Ubisoft has set the game in Feudal Japan, with a detailed and large map.
The trailer for the game was released a while ago and showed detailed information about the game and the recent gameplay. The Assassin’s Creed Shadows highlights the two main playable standard-bearers, i.e., the samurai Yasuke, who will focus on the heavy action combat of the game, and the shinobi assassin Naoe, who will emphasise the stealth of the gameplay. Yasuke is the name taken from a real 16th-century black samurai character, whereas Naoe is the fictional daughter of a real Fujibayashi Nagato. The creative director of the game, Jonathan Dumont, mentioned in an interview that the game will be more interesting because of its creativity, and it focuses more on giving hints to perform any tasks rather than asking the player to follow a quest. The game director Charles Benoit said that the game aims to make the player feel alive inside the game.
