Haryana, with 24 athletes, has the most athletes taking part in the Paris Summer Olympics 2024, with Punjab being the second. India will be taking part in 16 different sports in the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024.
Badminton, rowing, shooting, tennis, table tennis, boxing, hockey, archery, swimming, athletics, golf, sailing, judo, and some other games will be held in the summer Olympics.
India Has set its goal to enhance their last performance in the Tokyo Olympic 2020. Our country secured a total of 7 medals in the last Olympic games.
Bharat in Paris
A campaign was launched by the IOA (Indian Olympic Association) to promote awareness of sports across the country ahead of the Paris Summer Olympics.
Anurag Singh Thakur, the union sports minister of India, started a small marathon at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in New Delhi to flag off the ‘Bharat in Paris ‘campaign.
The Paris Summer Olympics 2024 have given athletes the opportunity to showcase their gameplay. India plans on giving its best and bringing more medals to the nation than the last Tokyo Olympic Games 2020. In the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020, 124 athletes from India participated and showcased their talent. Niraj Chopra won the historic gold medal in the men’s javelin throw.
